Put your parkour skills to the test and stand to win prizes, or qualify for Asian Parkour Championships. We have challenges for all levels – from beginners to athletes.

Public challenges

Find out of your hidden parkour skills by trying out some of our parkour challenges. Balance, vault, and climb your way through the course and stand a chance to win prizes!

Prizes: Wristbands, t-shirts, stickers depending on the number of challenges completed

Skills Challenge

Put your parkour skills to the test.

Prizes:

  • Rookies: PKSG White T-shirt
  • Advanced: Limited Edition LCG’16 Black T-shirt (Maroon Pocket)
Challenge format
 
1st Round
10 different technical challenges set by the judges for participants to try out. They will be given points for a successful completion of the challenge.
 
1st Attempt – 5 points
2nd Attempt – 4 points
3rd Attempt and beyond – 3 points
 
2nd Round
5 different technical challenges set by the judges with a time limit of 2 minutes Each completed challenge with earn you a point. 
 
Final/Tie-Breaker
1 difficult challenge set by the judges. The participant who successfully complete the challenge in the least amount of attempt, wins.
 

Who should participate: Beginner to advanced parkour practitioners

Chase Tag Competition

A high-energy, fast-paced competitive format of everyone’s favourite childhood game – Chase Tag!
 

Prizes:

  • Male (3 v 3 ): $100 cash for the winning team of 3, and entry for official World Chase Tag Competition
  • Female (2 v 2): $50 cash for the winning team of 2
  • Youth (1 v 1): Premium LCG T-shirt
Rules
  1. This is a team format activity that is played by two teams in each match.
  2. Each team has three athletes (for males) / two athletes (for females) / one athlete (for youth)
  3. The match is divided into sets. Each set consists of a predetermined number of chases.
  4. Each chase is twenty seconds long and has one chaser and one evader from opposing teams.
  5. The winning athlete in each chase stays on as the evader and the losing athlete is replaced by a teammate in a new chase who comes on as the Chaser.
  6. If an athlete steps out of bounds, they lose that chase. A team is awarded one point when their athlete successfully evades their opponent for the entire duration of the chase (i.e. 20 seconds).
  7. The team with the most points after of the predetermined number of chases wins that set. Tags must be made with the hand (i.e. NOT your foot).
  8. DANGEROUS PLAY IS PROHIBITED.

Who can participate: 

  • For Male Category: 16 year old and above. Need to form a team of 3 participants
  • For Female Category: 16 year old and above. Need to form a team of 2 participants
  • For Youth Category: 15 year old and below

Time slot:

  • 23 March 2019, 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Sign-up fee: $10 per participant, i.e. $30 per team of 3 males, or $20 per team of 2 females.

Speed Competition 
Competitors will be timed on their run from a set Point A to Point B route. Fastest time wins.

Speed Competition Categories:

  • Youth (15 and below)
  • Female
  • Open

Style Competition
Competitors have the arena to themselves for 1 min to showcase a run with their best tricks and flair.
They will be judged in 4 categories: Execution, Difficulty, Creativity, and Flow.

Style Competition Categories:

  • Youth (15 and below)
  • Female
  • Open

Who can participate: Parkour practitioners who are keen to compete in speed and/or style.

Time slot:

  • 24 March 2019, 11am – 7pm

Sign-up fee: $15 for speed or style, $25 for both.
