Inspired by one of the Parkour values “To be and to last”, we’ll be exploring ideas and concepts behind holistic health and training for longevity. And you’ll get to learn some Parkour moves and Calisthenics skills along the way!

A team of senior uncles who are dedicated in encouraging senior citizens and everyone else to maintain a healthy lifestyle and age actively.

They post inspirational photographs, videos and useful health tips on their Facebook page and Instagram account pretty frequently.

Parkour Aunties from MOVE

Parkour aunties

These ladies practise Parkour every Tuesday and Thursday morning at Bishan with MOVE Academy Singapore, as part of the Level Up Phoenix class programme.

Over time, they have gotten stronger, more mobile and inspired many more adults to get active through Parkour like them.

They have been featured on The Straits Times, Mothership, etc.

Tan Shie Boon from MOVE

Shie Boon Parkour

Personally transformed for the better by Art du Déplacement and a huge passion for coaching, Shie Boon wishes to play a part in preserving and spreading the goodness of the discipline to people of all walks of life.

He has taught students from 3 to 71 years old in the past 2+ years, providing him with an understanding of different needs of people.

He was featured in The Straits Times and Toggle for his initiative of helping seniors get active through Art du Déplacement / Parkour.

1.30pm – 2.15pm
Beginners’ Parkour Workshop by Shie Boon (coach from MOVE Academy Singapore) and Parkour aunties

2.15pm – 3pm
Calisthenics Session by Team Strong Silver uncles

3pm – 3.30pm
Discussion and sharing of healthy lifestyle and active ageing

3.30pm – 5pm
Group Photo and Open Session

5pm – 5.30pm

What to wear / bring

Comfortable attire and shoes for moving about during day time

At least 1 litre of water
